Supporting Middleton Police. Enhancing Public Safety.

Who We Are

The Middleton Law Enforcement Foundation (MiLEF) is a 501(c)(3) nonprofit dedicated to providing critical resources to the Middleton Police Department—ensuring officers have the tools, training, and programs needed to keep our community safe.

Founded in 2024, MiLEF bridges the gap when public funding falls short. Through community donations, we support essential safety equipment, youth engagement, and wellness initiatives that strengthen the bond between officers and the community they serve.

What We Support

Your contributions directly make a difference by funding:

  • Crime-fighting & safety equipment – Tools that keep officers and residents safe

  • Youth programs & internships – Building trust and leadership in the next generation

  • Scholarships – Supporting students pursuing law enforcement careers

  • Community engagement & wellness – Events and programs that bring residents and officers together

  • Annual MLPD wellness initiatives – Promoting officer health, resilience, and well-being

About Middleton Police Department

The Middleton Police Department (MLPD) is a nationally accredited, full-service agency:

  • 55+ staff including 41 sworn officers

  • 26,104 calls handled in 2024

  • Specialized units: K-9, Motorcycle, Special Response Team (SRT), Community Policing Officers

  • WLEAG Accreditation: Wisconsin Law Enforcement Accreditation Group

  • 30x30 Initiative: Committed to 30% female personnel by 2030

Why Support Matters

Wisconsin ranks last in the nation for state-level law enforcement funding (Wisconsin Policy Forum, 2020). Local municipalities carry most of the burden—yet the need far exceeds available resources.

That’s where MiLEF steps in. With your support, we can provide the tools, training, and programs that public funding can’t always cover.

Support safer streets.
Empower community policing.

Your donation helps ensure Middleton’s officers are prepared, supported, and connected to the community they serve.
